Gabriela

Voice

Gabriela’s inspiration to pursue music came from many people, but if it wasn’t for her older brother who started music first, she wouldn’t have started. Gabriela started as an instrumentalist on the clarinet and found her love for music. The trust her first teacher, Maggie Daane, put in her is what made her so passionate to learn more about opera and the classical voice. Gabriela is passionate about telling a story in her music and sharing it with the world. She believes that music can help people in their pain and joys and wants to contribute back to her community. Gabriela Nord currently finished her master's at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She moved there from Portland, Oregon, after finishing her bachelor’s degrees at George Fox University. She not only received her Bachelor of Arts in Music, but also a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.
